What this is,
and isn’t.

Bathroom Renovation NZ is a small, independent directory of 12 LBP-registered bathroom renovators across 8 New Zealand regions. We exist for one reason — most NZ bathroom quotes are impossible to compare because nobody on the customer side is using the same words for what scope means. We name the three scopes plainly, then match you with renovators who quote them the same way.

§01What gets listed

We list renovators who are Licensed Building Practitioner-registered, who work with at least one Master Plumber on the bits behind tile, and who can show us a recent BRANZ-tested waterproofing system on a finished job. We confirm those three things by phone and by paperwork before listing. We do not list renovators who pay for placement — because nobody can pay for placement on this directory.

§02How we make money

When you submit a quote request, we forward your details to up to three renovators in your region who fit your scope and budget shape. If you go ahead with one of them, the renovator pays us a small success fee — usually 1–2% of the project value. You don’t pay us anything, ever, and the success fee is disclosed in the renovator’s quote line items so you can see it.

§03What we don’t do

• We don’t install bathrooms ourselves — we point you at the people who do.
• We don’t publish phone numbers for individual renovators on the directory; lead capture happens via the shared form.
• We don’t fabricate reviews — there are none on this site, by design. Reviews live on Google or Houzz where they belong.
• We don’t do bathroom design ourselves; the renovators do, with their own designers or with one you bring.
