Work with us

Bathroom Renovation NZ contracts the work, manages the customer and pays on milestones. We are looking for one bathroom crew per area to take strip-out, carpentry, waterproofing and tiling, plus a licensed plumber and a registered electrician. We are not a lead-selling directory: nobody pays us for placement and there is no listing to buy.

What the arrangement is

  • We hold the customer contract. You have one client, us, on a written scope with a fixed price agreed before you start. No chasing homeowners for money.
  • The job is scoped before you see it. Every job comes with a scaled plan, a line-item budget, photographs, moisture readings and a consent position, produced by a paid measure-and-design visit. You are not quoting off a phone call.
  • You are paid on your own milestones, from the matching customer payment, by bank transfer. Plumbers and electricians are paid on invoice once their compliance records are received.
  • Variations are agreed in writing before the work, not argued about afterwards. Every budget carries a contingency line for exactly this.
  • You are named in the customer contract, with your registration details. We do not hide who does the work.

What we ask for

  • Plumbers: current authorisation under the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 2006, checkable on the PGDB public register. Tell us whether you hold the self-certification endorsement.
  • Electricians: EWRB registration and a practising licence, and a certificate of compliance on every job.
  • Builders doing restricted building work: LBP licence and a record of work.
  • Waterproofers and tilers: which membrane systems you are trained on, and agreement to photograph every coat across the whole wet area before it is covered. This is not negotiable: it is what we hand the customer at the end.
  • Everyone: a current insurance certificate, your NZBN, and honest capacity and lead times.

Where we are up to

Honestly: early. No crew is contracted anywhere yet, and the site is not taking payments until one is. If you are reading this as a bathroom company, you would be the first, which means you get to shape the payment schedule and the scope format rather than inherit them. What has to be true before we sell anything.

Apply

PGDB, EWRB or LBP number as it appears on the public register, if your trade has one.
Waterproofers and bathroom crews. Name the systems, not just 'all of them'.

We use your details to assess the fit and get in touch. We do not publish them, sell them or list your business on this site.
